Ofsted's latest judgements about the school, that are relative to the Governing Body, should be taken into account when you are completing GSET.
It is advisable to download your latest Ofsted report from the Ofsted website -www.ofsted.gov.uk and save it to a location on your computer.
Save the report with your school name and the date of inspection.
Then in GSET select Ofsted from the main menu bar.
Click on the Ofsted Files tab, and click on Add File
Click on Browse and navigate to where you have the report saved.
Select the appropriate file and click on 'Open'.
Complete the filename box on GSET. You then need to select 'Upload file'. This will upload the file to the website so that it is always available to all users.
You can now copy and paste any relevant information about the Governing Body into the GSET website. Firstly check what sort of information to select from the report by clicking on Edit Information in the Ofsted tab.
Then open the Ofsted report by double clicking on it and find and select the text to copy, right mouse click on it and click on Copy, then back in the GSET website click on the Ofsted tab and then click on Edit Information, right mouse click in the appropriate box and select Paste.
To delete a report from the Ofsted Files page simply highlight the report and then click on Delete Report. You may find that when you click on a report that the page moves down and obscures the Delete button, scroll back up to the top of the report to access the button.
