The landing page is the first page you will see whenever you log in. You can always return to this page by clicking on the logo in the top left corner of the screen.

 

The 'Information' on the right side of the screen comprises:

Last login : This is specific to your Username

Last modified : This is general to the school and will show when the information within the site was last updated by someone within your Governing Body

Permissions : Different users have different rights. 'Admin' has access to all areas. 'User' can read and write to all areas but cannot set up new users or change School Information. 'Guest' can read everything but not make any changes.

File space : This tells you how much of your limit you are using with uploaded files. Should you require more space please contact the Helpline who will be happy to arrange this. Should you reach your limit you may want to review the files attached and discard those no longer appropriate.

 

The ' Action Plans' on the right side of the screen comprises 'Overdue Action Plans' and 'Action Plans for Review'. Whenever the site is logged into, any Action Plans that have either passed the Review date or End date will be counted and shown as a number in this box. This is simply a reminder that action is needed.

The 'Menu bar' at the top of the page is the same wherever you are in the site. You can use the options on the menu bar to navigate your way around the site

 

The main image on the landing page is the SMART chart, this shows you the 7 Sections for evaluation, they are:

Strategic Leadership, Information, Structure, Working together, Raising standards, Accountability and Promoting the school

When you first visit the site the SMART Chart will be blank. As you start using the site your evaluations will be reflected as averages on the chart. There are 4 grades: 1 = Outstanding, 2 = Good, 3 = Satisfactory, 4 = Inadequate

If, on average, you have judged your Governing Body to be Good in a particular Section that area of the chart will be coloured up to and including band 2.

 

Should you wish to view your evaluations for a specific section, click on that area of the chart which will lead you on to the Evaluation pages.
