The Venn Diagram reports are available from the reports options in Termly Tracker. There are 3 options to choose from Age Related, On Track for 2 Levels Progress and Current Attainment
Age Related - can show data for up to 3 subjects at a time which are chosen by unticking and ticking the boxes at the top of the screen, and will assume data has been added for the term the file is currently in. If the data hasn't been added to the current term it is possible to use the data and age related expectation from the previous term by unticking the box. Clicking on the numbers or percentages in the circles will display the related pupil names. Children working below age related expectation in all chosen subjects are displayed in a box outside of the circles. Some extra information relating to gender and FSM is also provided.
On Track for 2 Levels Progress - is available for KS2 files only. As with Age Related up to 3 subjects can be chosen.
The table of data in the bottom left corner of the report shows the percentage of children considered to be 'on track for 2 levels progress', for each subject, based on their KS1 result and their current level.
So, for example, the 2-4 section of the report will show the percentage of children whose KS1 result was a 2C, 2B or 2A and, on the basis of their current level, they are considered to be on track to achieve at least a flat level 4 at the end of KS2.
However, this does mean that a child who achieved a 2A in KS1 has only to make 4 sub-levels progress across KS2 to achieve 4C, whereas a child on a 2C at KS1 has to make 6 sub levels of progress to achieve 4C. The Target Level 5 section will show the percentage of children who have been targeted to achieve L5+, but have no KS1 results.
Children in the file with missing data will be shown with ?? in the pop up boxes in either the KS1 or the current data area, depending on which data they are missing.
Please be aware that if you have children with missing data in your file, your '% on track' in this report will be different to that reported in the SEF Outcomes report in Termly Tracker. This is because the SEF Outcomes report '% on track' only includes children who do not have any missing data for KS1 or the current period.
If you are finding it difficult to 'read the data in the table' we recommend looking at it for one subject at a time, by deselecting the 2 other subjects.
Current Attainment - Allows the user to choose a level to view. Any children who are working below the chosen level for all of the displayed subjects will be shown in the Below Level box outside of the circles. The data can also be displayed as percentages
