Evaluate – click on the section of the SMART Chart you wish to evaluate.

Each section has a number of questions. Use the strands of statements to judge where your school is.

Make your evaluation – within each strand where do you judge your school to be? Click on select to make your judgment.

Setting a statement as Priority for improvement means that you would like to improve upon where you currently are, and links this statement to the Strategic Plan.

Add evidence to strands to support the judgments you have made by clicking the '+ Evidence' icon

Statements you have chosen then feed into the SEF report template. This goes alongside any evidence to form the basis of your SEF.

Action Plans – Strategic Plans and Subject Action Plans.

Any statements you have identified as 'Priority for Improvement' will feed through to the Year Assign area. Assign Priorities to each year of the plan.

Complete the details of each plan.

Free text plans not linked to evaluations can also be added.

Plans can be edited, exported to Word, printed or copied.

Assign priorities to subject coordinators to create a whole school approach to school improvement.

Assigned priorities then appear as 'School Priorities' within a subject coordinators area. They can start writing action plans for their own subject.
