Creating and uploading the SIP report data to SSET.net – for Primary and Infant Schools  

 

Follow these instructions to produce  reports from Early Years, Primary and Termly Target Tracker ready to be uploaded to the SSET.net website

 

Early Years Foundation Stage Target Tracker

Ensure that you are running version 6.1.1 of the software or higher. To check this click the green target icon for the File menu and click About. The version number will be displayed  

·         If your software needs upgrading click the green target icon for the file menu and click Updates to check for any online updates or visit the Target Tracker website at http://www.targettracker.org/ and choose Support followed by Downloads to find and manually install the upgrade

·         Load your EYFS data file and select Year One in the Pupil Selection screen

·         Click the Reports tab and click the Key Statistics report

·         Choose the Export tab and click Word

·         Choose a location to save the report

·         Close EYFS Target Tracker and open the exported report in Microsoft Word

·         Click beneath the report so that the cursor is flashing there and leave the Word document open but minimised to the bottom of the screen.

 

Primary and Termly Target Tracker

Ensure that you are running version 11.7.3 or higher (Click About on the Help menu and About to check this).

·         If the version needs upgrading visit the Target Tracker website at http://www.targettracker.org/ and choose Support followed by Downloads to find and manually install the upgrade.

 

A2 SEF Outcomes Report

·         Start Primary Target Tracker.

·         Load your Year 3 file and run the SEF Outcomes report. This should be the file containing the whole of Year 3 and not a class file. If you have class files in your school you will need to integrate them back into the year group file first.

·         Click the Copy to Clipboard button.

·         Switch back to the Word document minimised earlier and choose Paste Special from the Edit menu in Word 2003 or from the Home tab (click the small arrow beneath the Paste button) in Word 2007.

·         Choose Picture (Enhanced Metafile) from the list and click OK.

·         The report should appear beneath the EYFS report.

·         Primary schools should now load last years Year 6 file, run the same report and paste it into the Word document beneath the Y3 report using the      same method.

          Please note the file must have Y6 SAT data added into the SAT columns for all subjects, if the file hasn't got this data a KS1 report will be generated

·         Save (as) the Word document using the filename SEF Outcomes School name Term Year e.g. SEF Outcomes Longway Primary Autumn 09

·         Close the Word document

 

 A2.2 Quality of Pupils' Learning report 

·         Load Termly Tracker and your Year 1 file. This should be the file containing the whole of year one and not a class file. If you have class files in your school you will need to integrate them back into the year group file first.

·         Run the SEF Outcomes report and click the Copy to Clipboard button. Minimise Termly Tracker.

·         Open a Microsoft Word document and choose Paste Special from the edit menu in Word 2003 or from the Home tab in Word 2007.

·         Choose Picture (Enhanced Metafile) from the list and click OK.

·         The report should appear.

·         Now load each year group in turn and paste the SEF outcomes report beneath the last.

·         Close Termly Tracker and Save (as) the Word document using the filename A2_2 Pupil Learning School name Term Year e.g. A2_2 Pupil Learning Longway Primary Autumn 09

·         Close Word

 

Uploading the files to SSET

·         Log in to http://www.sset.net/

·         Select Portfolio from the menu bar

·         Select the SIP tab

·         Select 'Add File'

·         Browse to the location you saved the SEF Outcomes and Pupils' Learning documents and select the files

·         Complete the relevant details and Upload the files
