Using the Basic Quick Assessment to record Early Years Foundation Stage Profile achievements in the current term

Click the Basic Quick Assessment button
Select the pupil to assess by clicking on their name from the drop down list
The period that any assessments will be recorded in is displayed in the Period box to the right of the pupil's name
The 13 areas of the Foundation Stage Profile are displayed on the left of the screen; hover the mouse over the cells to display the individual statements above the grid
Hovering the mouse over previously ticked statements will display when the statement was achieved on the right of the screen above the total column
Set a statement as Achieved by ticking the box
Please be aware ...
It is also possible to assess the pupils by left mouse clicking in the Total column and either typing or choosing the number of achieved statements from the drop down list. Please be aware that using this option to assess the children will assume the total number of points that you select have been achieved in the current term, and will remove the term information of any previously recorded points, including the child's Entry Level Assessment information. A warning message will be given and clicking OK will result in the scenario above. Click Cancel to close the message box without making any changes to the data.
You will notice in the drop down list there is also an entry for 0, N or A
Choosing 0 = assessed as having achieved zero points
Choosing N = not assessed
Choosing A = denotes that you are assessing the child using an Alternative Assessment

Click the Basic Quick Assessment button
Select the Subject button and choose the subject to assess from the drop down list
The period the assessments will be recorded in is displayed in the Period box to the right of the subject chosen
Assess the pupils as above
