Filtering allows you to choose the pupils you have on display. The main filter in place at any time is the year group or class that you chose in the initial Pupil Selection screen. To an extent this may be thought of as the loaded pupil group as, having chosen a year group or class, it is not possible to work with any other pupils without returning to the Pupil Selection screen and re-choosing. However it is possible to filter down the loaded pupil group to enable effective data analysis.
The Pupil Filters setup options are available from the DM, EYFSP & Contextual data grids and all Reports, by clicking on the Pupil Filters tab at the top of the screen.
Clicking on a Common button will filter the data according to that criterion. The Current Filter group always displays the selected filter and this is also displayed along the bottom of the screen so that the filter is on display when you are not viewing the Pupil Filters tab
The Custom Filter allows you to add multiple criteria to filter on which may not be available in the Common group.
These options are also available from all Charts by clicking the Select Pupils button at the top left of the screen
