It is possible to update an existing Early Years Foundation Stage Target Tracker file with data from a ctf (xml) file. This process can be used if a ctf is received from another school containing data for a new child to your school.

The process will not allow data for children already in the EYFSTT file to be updated – if this is attempted a message to warn about importing duplicate UPN numbers will be displayed.

Load EYFSTT, load the file and select the year group that you wish to update

Click the green icon in the top left corner to load the File menu

Click on Import and CTF

Browse to the location of the ctf and open it

The XML Processor loads and the pupils' names will be shown

When process has finished click to exit the XML processor

You will then be returned to the EYFSTT file with the data updated
