It is possible to create a ctf (XML) file from Early Years Foundation Stage Target Tracker which can be used to update your school Management Information System.

It is necessary to set up the MIS correctly to receive the data. Target Tracker does not support this aspect of the process. Please use your MIS support for assistance with this part of the process.

To create the ctf load your file into EYFSTT and select the Year group or class.

Click on the green icon which loads the File menu from the top left hand corner of the screen

Select Export – then select MIS

The process begins automatically and you will see the children's names being processed

When processing has completed a Save In box loads in the default location of My Documents/ Target Tracker/ EYFS / Exports. Click on Save

You will then be given the option of saving the file to another location e.g. a memory stick, if this is useful. Click on Yes or No as desired.

Click OK and then Exit to return to EYFSTT

The XML file can then be imported into your school Management Information System – Do not rename the file.
