When EYFSTT is loaded for the first time a message box appears asking if you wish the software to create backups of your data files

Click Yes or No as required. You may not want to create backups if your data files are stored on a shared drive that is already backed up regularly. If this is not the case we recommend that you click Yes

A Backup Options window loads

If having set these options you change your mind about some of them you can edit the options as follows

Load the file menu by clicking the green icon in the top left corner or the screen

Click on Options at the bottom of the window

Choose Backups from the list on the left of the window

Edit the Options chosen as required

Click OK to close the Options window

Depending on how often you have chosen to create backups a window will appear when a backup is due

Click Yes to allow backup of file.

The backup will be stored in the Backups folder in the location chosen in the Options. The file is placed in a folder that is named with the date and time the backup was made, this folder is saved in a folder of the same name as your data file
