Using the Final Reports in Primary Target Tracker to report end of year data to parents
The Key Stage Final Reports in Primary Target Tracker contain all of the data that schools have to report to parents at the end of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. If any of the reports do not have the correct academic year in the heading this means that you do not have the most up to date version of the PTT software installed.
There is also a similar report that can be generated for children in Year 3, 4 and 5 available.

Load the file into Primary Target Tracker and click on Reports and Final Reports
KS 1 Pupil - This report contains Teacher Assessment values. The report is populated with data only after the KS1 Wizard has been used. So if the report is empty you must open the KS1 Wizard which can be found in the File menu - Key Stage Data. Then simply Save and Close the Wizard in order to populate the KS 1 Pupil report.
KS 1 Gender - Contains the Teacher Assessment values for Males and Females. As with the pupil report it will be empty until the KS1 Wizard has been used. The report shows flat levels for Speaking and Listening and Science and sub levels for Reading, Writing and Maths. Children who were Disapplied or Absent for S&L, Reading, Writing and Maths will be included in the appropriate column if the D or A has been entered in the KS1 Wizard. The Disapplied and Absent cells for Science are unlocked in the report and a percentage can be typed in, if needed. Children working in P Scales will be included in the percentage in the W column.
KS 1 School - Contains data from the same source as the gender report but for the cohort.
KS 1 School and National - Shows the percentage of eligible children in the school achieving each level compared to the national end of KS1 Teacher Assessment levels. The grey shaded sections of the table represent the national results for the end of the previous academic year.
KS 1 Pupil Details - Contains all of the data that has been entered into the KS1 Wizard for Teacher Assessment and Task / Test results. The same data, but also including P Scale values where appropriate, is available in the KS1 Data Report from the File menu - Key Stage Data. This report shows what values will be included in any XML files created from the PTT file.
Years 3 - 5 - Shows Teacher Assessments and Test results fed into the report from data on the Tracking Data sheet
All KS 2 Reports - The reports are initially populated with data from the Tracking Data sheet. If the KS2 Wizard is subsequently opened and saved this data will take priority over what is on the Tracking Data sheet and will appear in the KS 2 reports. This shouldn't be a problem as the data should be the same but it does mean than changing Teacher Assessment data, on the Tracking Data sheet, will have no impact on the contents of the KS 2 reports once the KS2 Wizard has been used. If it is found to be necessary to make changes to any data then the data must be changed on the Tracking Data sheet and the KS Wizard opened, the changed data will be highlighted in yellow indicating it has changed. The data in the blue LA box should be corrected to match the new Teacher assessment value, then the Wizard saved and closed again. This should update the reports correctly.
KS 2 Pupil - This report contains Teacher Assessment and Test data in flat levels. The data for English is picked up from the English Y6 SRW column, so includes Speaking and Listening.
KS 2 Gender - Contains the Teacher Assessment and Test data for Males and for Females. The report is populated with data from the Tracking Data sheet. The percentage of children at each flat level is shown. Children working towards a Level 1 Teacher Assessment are shown in the W column. If there are children who do not have a value on the Tracking Data sheet for either TA or Test they will not be included in the report. The cells in the report for Disapplied or Absent results are able to be typed into, so the percentage of children can be calculated and added manually. The cells for Test Results - Below level 3 data represents children scoring 2.7 or lower on the Tracking data sheet. If the SAT Y6 cell for a child is empty because they scored a B (Below) in the KS2 Wizard, the percentage for the child can be calculated and added manually by typing into the Below level 3 cell in the report. The Pupil not entered and Absent data needs to be calculated manually and typed into the report.
KS 2 School - As gender report but for whole cohort.
KS2 School and National - Shows the percentage of eligible children in the school achieving each level compared to the national end of KS2 Teacher Assessment and Test levels. The grey shaded sections of the table represent the national results for the end of the previous academic year.
