Foundation Stage Profile scores can be entered into a Primary Target Tracker file as End of Reception Data or during the primary stage as Post Reception Data.
Load your file into Primary Target Tracker
If you want to add FSP scores for one pupil or a group of pupils but not the whole file you should filter these pupils first. Do this by selecting the pupils by clicking on their names whilst holding down the ctrl key on the keyboard and then using Filter – Pupil Filters – Selected Pupils
From the Reports menu choose the FSP Summary report
Click on the FSP Quick Planner button
Choose to enter End of Reception Data or Post Reception Data by clicking on the left/right arrows at the top of the screen
Enter the ticks into the boxes for the achieved FSP statements or alternatively enter the total number of points achieved in the Total column for each of the 13 areas, use the enter key to move down the list of assessment areas
When completed for a pupil click on Update and Next Pupil or click on Update and Close if all pupils are completed
If you are entering or updating End of Reception data click on Update Reception Tracking Data, and select if the data entered was for all pupils or a filtered group of pupils.
If the data added was End of Reception year FSP scores this data will be converted to National Curriculum levels and inserted into the appropriate Reception columns on the tracking data sheet.
If the data was Post Reception Data these achieved statements will be stored in the FSP Summary report and are shaded light blue to distinguish them from End of Reception achievements which are a deeper shade of blue. These scores cannot be converted electronically into N/C levels and placed in the tracking data sheet, they are simply a way of recording progress in FSP points in KS1.
For details on the conversion from FSP points to National Curriculum levels see the Conversion table in the Help menu / Tables
