If you are extracting data from CMIS for the first time you will need to import the 'report template' we have provided into your system. This template may be downloaded from our website, www.targettracker.org - Support Articles – Downloads, or you can browse to its location on any PC running Primary Target Tracker by following this path -(C/ProgramFiles/TT/DataExtractionKit/CMIS)

To import the template

From the Main Screen select Reports > Reports.

On the next screen select Advanced and then Import.

Click Yes to agree the location of the report.

Browse to select the report template, if this has been downloaded from the website browse to the location that you saved the file or to the location on the C drive of your PC as previously mentioned.

With the report file highlighted click Open.

Right mouse click anywhere on the white area of this screen and select Exporting > Export

Save the file with an appropriate name, for example myschool.xls  Make sure you only use alpha or numeric characters in the filename (i.e. no spaces or symbols such as backslash). It is sometimes not easy to see where the file has been saved. The default location is the Facility CMIS server. It may be necessary to search the computer to locate the saved file.

If you are about to go on a Starter Course, you may wish to take this file with you on a memory stick. Please protect the data in accordance with your school or Local Authority Data Protection policy.  It will be converted to Target Tracker files on the course.
